Meet Our Staff...

In September 2019 I became the Director at Trinity Lutheran Preschool. I began in 2016 at Trinity as a Teacher Assistant. I received my certification from CCRI in the spring of 2011. I love my job and getting to meet all the students and families. Working with children has always been my dream and I am so blessed that I get to do just that! I live in Ashaway and have since 2005 with my husband Howie, my 13 year old daughter Isabella (a 2016 Trinity graduate!) and our two yorkies, Piper and Ginger. I love spending time with my family, shopping, Netflix series and ALL things Disney! My newest passion is creating gifts and personalized items on my Cricut machine!

Hi! My. name is Lori Antoch and I have been a teacher here at Trinity for 22 years! I discovered my love for children early on as a camp counselor and summer recreation director. I graduated from URI with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching career in Westerly as the Literacy teacher and first grade teacher. I live in Ashaway with my husband and I am the proud mom of two grown children...Corey and Caitlin who are both graduates of Trinity, Chariho and URI...Go Rhody! As empty nesters my hubby and I enjoy camping, golfing and hiking together. My proudest hiking accomplishment is climbing to the summit of Mount Washington this past July!.

My name is Patricia Shimkus and I am delighted to be back at Trinity Lutheran Preschool, where my love for early childhood education was ignited! I have been in the field of early education for over eighteen years. I am excited to be surrounded by energetic and curious students, and I look forward to witnessing their daily discoveries. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy exploring the great outdoors together, kayaking and hiking, and discovering new adventures. We also take great pride in watching our two grown children navigate their own paths in life.

Hi I am Katie and I live with my husband and two kids Chase (4) and Hazel (6) in Charlestown, RI. I started working for Trinity in the fall of 2025 and have always enjoyed working with children. I love doing crafts on my Cricut,camping, going to the beach and spending time with my family. I am so happy to be a part of the Trinity family!
